Gallantly-phrased invitation to the ladies of Lima, to attend an event in the Plazuela de los Desamparados, in the city, on 22 April, ‘Domingo Quasimodo’ (Low Sunday) - which took place on that date in 1770. The event was for new waterworks. Our copy is addressed to a countess.

One sheet, 28.4 cms. x 19.1 cms., printed to recto. Small printed cross to head, factotum initial. 22 lines text (half a word on a 23rd line), printed names, date and place below. Copy made out in manuscript to Condesa del Puerto. Removed by a previous owner from a sammelband (number ‘16’ at top right-hand corner). Modern marbled wrappers.
